First Church of Christ, Scientist

In the Fall of 2006, we were contacted by First Church of Christ, Scientist to inspect and present recommendations to the congregation for the future of their pipe organ. The organ was built by the venerable M. P. Moller firm of Hagerstown, MD in 1949. Upon our inspection we found the organ in good condition, only needing releathering of the note pouches and reservoirs.

We were honored to have been contracted by the church in early 2007 to restore this instrument to its original condition. With this restoration, no tonal changes will be made to this versatile instrument. All pouches, primaries, tremolos and reservoirs will be removed for professional releathering. In addition, all of the organs 840 pipes will be thoroughly cleaned and checked for proper speech and tone production.
