Beginning in 2010, we were asked by Director of Music, Cam Bishop to begin caring for the pipe organ at
Mulberry Street United Methodist. The instrument began as Opus 697 of the Skinner Organ Company of Boston. Following a
devistating fire in the church in 1968, M.P. Moller rebuilt the instrument, saving a few Skinner stops as their R-557.
For many years under the care of Gouzowski & Steppe, the instrument was slowly revised and rebuilt. Over a period of 15+ years the organ received revoicing, rebuilding of the console, addition of digital voices and some releathering. The final division to be restored was the Antiphonal organ. In our work, we will restore all of the mechanics of the Antiphonal organ to ensure years of reliable service.
