South Highland Presbyterian Church

In 2009, we were contracted by the Session of South Highland Presbyterian Church to restore the wind system for the 1964 M. P. Moller pipe organ. Upon our inspection of the instrument with organist Jamie McLemore, we found numerous reservoirs in complete failure with others in immediate danger of failure. In our work, we will remove all of the reservoirs from the instrument for complete releathering using time proven techniques and high grade chrome tanned leather. As pipe organs are wind instruments, it is critical for the reservoirs of the organ to be in proper working condition.
In this work, certain tonal additions will be made through the addition of stops to various locations that require no new pipework, but only new control switching. With these simple and logical additions, the organ will be more versatile and useful for the musician.
